Blit can mean:

  • BLock Image Transfer from Bit blit (Bit Block Transfer, BitBLT, blitting etc.) is a computer graphics operation in which two bitmap patterns are combined. Sometimes, this is done in hardware by means of a Blitter chip.
  • The Blit terminal (marketed as the AT&T 5620) is a programmable bitmap graphics terminal
  • BLIT is a short story by David Langford.
  • The Blits are one of the indigenous peoples of South Mindanao (one of their immediate tribal neighbors is the Tboli).
  • Band limited impulse train is a system used in Audio DSP. It is a popular technique to calculate aliasing-free "analog" waveforms.
