[edit] Top 10

I just noticed that you copied the towns from their homepage, but instead of using a non-numbered sorting like Blacksmith did, you put numbers in front of them. Thus Chernobyl (which starts with a 'C') became the worst polluted place, which is not true. The Institute never gave out a final order.

Cite from their page:

"In the end, it was agreed that identifying these ten was a significant achievement but that it was not realistic, given the wide range of scales and types, to put them into a final 1-to-10 order. This report therefore refrains from pointing the finger at one place and saying that this is the worst on earth. Being on the final list of ten is bad enough."

I removed the numbers in front of the cities because of that reason. --CecilK 22:48, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you, Cecil. I failed to notice that the ranking was not strict.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 00:22, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
