Assessment comments The following comments were left by the assessors: (edit · history · watch · refresh) From 1st June 2008 the speed limit was lowered from 100km/h to 80km/h. This is a Victorian state government initiative to increase the revenue raised from speeding tickets. Some other Victorian State Government initiatives that they have implemented on Black Spur over the last 24month were armco barriers with unprotected support poles, that increased danger of injury or death to many 100's of riders that frequent Black Spur every weekend.
