Talk:Black Norwegian Elkhound

[edit] Additional Photos?

Might someone be able to produce an additional photo of this dog? I'd like to see the tail "tightly curled over the back, but not carried on either side" per FCI standards. Graphic examples of what constitutes 'a little white on the feet' would be nice too as would a profile image of the head. Keesiewonder 13:48, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] English name

It was stated that "elkhound" is a mistranslation and that it, despite its name, is not a hound. The Wikipedia article on hound states that "A hound is a type of dog that assists hunters by tracking or chasing the animal being hunted." This is exactly what an elkhound does. I took the liberty of changing this, my apologies if I am mistaken about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pegster (talkcontribs) 00:17, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
