Can anyone confirm that the band support the 32 County Sovereignty Movement or that former member Chris Byrne was all warm and fuzzy about the "armed struggle". How about the rest. AIUI Black 47 are (or were) with Galvin in opposing the pIRA/SF ceasefire. Any comments ?

Who categorized this as a hip hop group? They aren't. I guess it was a joke...

Is Chris Byrne an "Irish expatriate", as this article seems to imply, or a person from New York City, as his own article is categorised? Alai 18:46, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't know if this will make it into the main page, as it needs some verification, but I believe they were playing outside / inside BB King's in NYC on March 17th, 2007. The show was broadcast on WBAI, as part of the anti-war rallies / marches going on during the 4th anniversary of the Iraq war.
