History
Engraved by Jodocus Hondius (either father or son) and purchased by Willem Blaeu in 1629.[1]
Appeared in Atlantis Appendix 1630, in Atlas Maior 1665, and in other atlases by Blaeu and Sons.[2]
Copper plate purchased by Frederick de Wit in 1680 and re-issued by Covens and Mortier in 1720.[3]
