Blame the Wizards is the first track ever written by Canadian Heavy Metal band Brown Brigade and is also the third track on the band's first studio album Into The Mouth of Badd(d)ness.
The song was the first to be written by cousins Dave Baksh and Vaughn Lal back when they only started the project, as Dave's metal side project while still in Sum 41.
The song was written back in 2004 and its working title then was "7x4".
It then was recorded as a demo and was one of the first songs to appear on the band's Myspace page, yet unlike what many fans believed, it didn't appear on the band's first release EP - "Appetizer for Destruction" which alternatively featured 3 other songs, in their demo stages.
The song is considered to be the heaviest track on the album, as well as one of the three shortest tracks on the record, along with "E2 the F (Homeboy)" and "Blues Warrior", all timing under 2 minutes. Despite that, its one of the band's most known songs and a definite fan favorite that is played live every show.
