Blagoy Georgiev (Bulgarian: Благой Георгиев) (born 21 December 1981) is a Bulgarian footballer currently (as of July 2006) playing for German club MSV Duisburg as a right midfielder.
Born in Sofia, he played for Slavia Sofia and featured in 148 A PFG matches while scoring 24 goals. A Bulgaria international, he was also previously a member of the country's under-21 team, for which he has 16 matches and 11 goals.
Before moving to Serbian team Red Star Belgrade in 2006, he played on loan from Slavia for Spanish Primera División club Deportivo Alavés between January and June 2006. This summer he was transferred to Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg.
