Black Sun (sculpture)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Black Sun is a granite sculpture located at the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park. It was carved by Isamu Noguchi in Japan and installed in 1969.[1]
This sculpture is said to be the inspiration for the Soundgarden song "Black Hole Sun".[2]
When you look through the sculpture from the straight on, you get a perfectly framed view of the Space Needle.[3]
