Black Is Back, from Public Enemy's 2007 20th anniversary album "How You Sell Soul To A Soulless People Who Sold Their Soul?, was originally slated to be the first single from the album and was a revamp of the 1980's AC/DC classic Back in Black. While legal red tape put the original version on the shelves, a completely reworked version made its way onto the album.
"Black Is Back" Public Enemy's original tribute to the Run-D.M.C. 80’s shout style and it is rumored that a version exists featuring rapper D.M.C. (Darryl McDaniels).
