Bkdaniels is the user name for Byron K. Daniels a Phlebotomist and professional researcher from Little Rock, Arkansas. He originally began his venure in early 2002 when online forums started to become more and more popular.

While visiting these communities, bkdaniels noticed that many pharmacy customers and patients went online asking questions about their health and prescription products. Many of the questions contained was obviously side effects and/or severe adverse reactions that was listed on product labeling, but still, users asked for an explaination.

Anxious to give the users the best reply possible, bkdaniels would search medical articles, contact various Physiciann's and Specialties in the field, and used his experience to find information. Then, come up with a conclusion, based on the information given.

Critics often states, "you can not diagnose a person's condition online". Bkdaniels knows that this is dangerous, but answering a question is a lot safer than not answering at all.

bkdaniels began to understand an unreconized problem in the medical community. Eventhough, pharmaceutical companies provide leaflets containing possible side effects and adverse reactions, frustrated with illness, many healthcare officials did realize how difficult it is for pharmcy customers and patients to know "what it is saying."

Litiature provided by the medical community, then becomes confusing of what applies to them and their condition. This is where pharmacy customers and patients need someone with a clear mind and some medical understanding to relate the message.

Futhermore, as the costs of medical care continues to skyrocket, pharmacy customers and patients may become more and more reluctant to see their Doctor - unless they "really have too." With the credibility of bkdaniels, patients and pharmacy customers can be easily be convienced of their need to see their Doctor or Healthcare provider.

According to Bkdaniels, "our goal is not to diagnose and illness or a disease, but to help the patient communicate better with their Physician. Our reply may not always be the right answer, but hopefully, the customer or patients can see how serious in can be and in return, go to their doctor.

With his dedication and service, bkdaniels was selected a Moderator of Health Digest (healthdigest.org). There he keeps the communication going, have the power to edit and delete posts, ban users, and other administrative duties.
