Bjørnsletta is a station on Kolsåsbanen (line 6) between Åsjordet and Lysakerelven of the Oslo T-bane. It is located in the Ullern borough. Along with Frøen, Bjørnsletta is one of only two stations on the subway network which lacks step-free access to the platform.[1]. The station was opened June 15, 1942 when the line from Røabanen to Jar was completed.[2] Along with most of the line, Åsjordet has been closed for upgrades since July 1, 2006 and is service is temporarily provided by bus line 43.[3]. The area around Bjørnsletta is mainly residential.
