Bitteswell is a small village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire in England. It is a distinctly separate village close to Lutterworth, situated just to the north of that town, and has a population of about 37. It was recorded in the Domesday Book as Betmeswelle.
It was the site of RAF Bitteswell, an airfield used in the Second World War. Hawker Siddley Aviation had a factory close by, where Vulcan bombers were built and maintained.
