[edit] Incomplete deletion
Don't be discouraged by the comments on your talk page... it's good to have editors who are willing to work on maintaining articles. But it would be good to be sure you generally understand our processes before making a larger number of changes.
I just wanted to note that regarding Ananda Saint James and Amy LePeilbet, the articles have an incomplete nomination for deletion. Nominating an article for AFD requires three steps (see How to list pages for deletion). The articles either need to have the last two steps completed, or if you've changed your mind about the deletion, then the AfD notice should be removed.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page. --Interiot 20:14, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Anatakupu Island
I've excised "It is the home of Anatakupu Island." from the Nelson,_New_Zealand pages since this tiny island lies more than 100km away from Nelson in the Marlborough Sounds to the east of D'Urville Island - I looked at it 6 weeks ago from French Pass!!!
Perhaps you can make the link in a more appropriate article? W. Frank 13:52, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] farmalloc ...
Thanks for wanting to improve Wikipedia. However, this [1] edit doesn't (in my opinion) do that. The article Farmalloc only has two links to it, and only one from a main space page. As such the orphan tag should be left on the article. ~AFA ʢűčķ¿Ю 12:49, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Bassboosa
A tag has been placed on Bassboosa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. TheBressman 14:05, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
