Biskopsgården

Biskopsgården is a borough in Göteborg, Sweden.

It was built at the end of the 1950s. All street names in Biskopsgården have a theme with weather, and the suburb is built around three squares: Friskväderstorget, Vårväderstorget and Väderlekstorget (väder is the Swedish word for weather).

It is a multicultural suburb in that many of the inhabitants originate from other countries, and Biskopsgården has both big, block-like apartment buildings as well as areas with one-family houses complete with surrounding garden. The rents in Biskopsgården are fairly low compared to many other parts of Gothenburg.
