I'm confused.. Was Birger Brosa's spouse named Brigit, Birgit or Birgitta?

I am sure the official version should be Birgitta. Birgit and Brigit might have been how they colloquially pronunced the name. Compare with e.g. a name like Benedikt which colloquially was pronunced Benkt (or Bengt in modern spelling). This discrepancy between official name and colloquial pronunciation of the name was common until the 19th century when the colloquial versions became accepted as official independent name forms which you could christen your name to.
