Birger Møller-Pedersen is a computer scientist and Professor at the University of Oslo, Department of Informatics. His work on object-oriented programming has contributed to the creation together with Kristen Nygaard, Bent Bruun Kristensen and Ole Lehrmann Madsen of the BETA programming language, which is a descendant of Simula.
