Birganj (Bengali: বীরগঞ্জ) is an Upazila of Dinajpur District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Birganj is located at . It has 42323 units of house hold and total area 413 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Birganj has a population of 231305. Males constitute are 51.77% of the population, and females 48.23%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 111160. Birganj has an average literacy rate of 25% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
