Biotechnology High School is a comprehensive magnet public high school in Freehold Township, New Jersey. It is a part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District. The school opened in September 2005 and consisted exclusively of an initial freshman class of 60 students, eight teachers, and two other faculty members. It now has a new freshman class, which will graduate in 2011, of 73 students. Seven teachers and a guidance counselor have since been hired to support the incoming freshman classes. Lunch is not yet served, given the small size of the student body.

The student body has since expanded to contain a junior class. It is also temporarily housing the MCVSD Law Enforcement Program. The school has chartered an FFA chapter, however due to lack of participation the chapter is omitted. It has a rigorous science course which consists of eight different science classes over the four years of its curriculum. Biotechnology High School is a member of the NCSSSMST[1] and as of April 2007, is an official International Baccalaureate Organization school, offering the IB Diploma Programme.[2] This program involves minorly the sophomores, and majorly the juniors and future seniors.
