There's something wrong with the photograph. His hat is cut off at the right hand side. Makes me think that there must have been some sort of tampering with it. Is it really Billy Sing on the photo? Was there perhaps someone else on the photo? It probably fully belongs here, but I'm very curious :-)

I'm not sure if your comment is a joke or not. His hat curls up on one side, which is why it appears to be "cut off". The same style is still used by the Australian military today. Scholarcs 20:27, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
