William Allen "Billy" Thompson (born October 10, 1946 in Greenville, South Carolina) is a former safety who played college ball at UMES (then called Maryland State) and then the Denver Broncos from 1969 to 1981. He was a starter in Super Bowl XII and was inducted into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame in 1987.
