Billy-Montigny is a commune of northern France.

Billy-Montigny is located in the Pas-de-Calais département. It belongs to the communauté d'agglomération of Lens-Liévin (Communaupole) which gathers 36 communes, with a total population of 250,000 inhabitants.

The history of the area remains marked by the mining disaster which caused 1,099 casualties on March 10, 1906 on the territories of Billy-Montigny, Méricourt and Sallaumines.
In Billy-Montigny Communal Cemetery lie the bodies of two WWI British soldiers.
- Denis Percival Beauchamp Taylor. MC. Lieutenant Royal Flying Corps. 3rd Sqdn. 3rd (King's Own) Hussars. In North part. Grave 1 (left hand side).
- George Thomas Paget, Private. 37915 18th Bn. Welsh Regiment. Died of wounds 19th July 1916. An under-aged soldier who was 17 years old. In North part. Grave 2 (right hand side).
- A Canadian Soldier (unknown) is also buried at the cemetery.
