Bill Watkins (Seagate)

William D. Watkins is currently the CEO of Seagate Technology, the American manufacturer of hard drives. He joined Seagate Technology after its merger with Conner Peripherals in February, 1996 as Executive Vice President of its Recording Media Group. He was promoted in 1997, 1998, and in 2000, he became President and a member of the board of directors. He was appointed as CEO on 3rd July, 2004. Watkins is also a member of the board of directors of Iolon and MEMC Electronic Materials, and is on the Executive Advisory Council for IDEMA and the Executive Advisory Board of Juran Centre for Leadership in Quality
