William (Bill) H. Walker (born October 9, 1987 in Huntington, West Virginia), is a college basketball player for the Kansas State Wildcats. He made the decision to enroll in an accelerated program at North College Hill High in order to graduate early after discovering that he had used all of his high school athletics eligibility the previous year. At North College Hill, Walker was a teammate of O.J. Mayo. He enrolled at Kansas State as a part-time student so that he would be eligible to play December 16, 2006, which was the start of the second semester. He had an immediate impact on the team, averaging 11.3 points per game and 4.5 rebounds in the six games he played in. In his sixth game, he ruptured the ACL in his left knee early in a game against Texas A&M. The injury required surgery and ended his freshman season. He was back for the start of the 2007-2008 season.

In the 2007-2008 season, Walker averaged 15.8 points and 6.4 rebounds in 27.2 minutes per game. He tied his career-high with 31 points in a 92-86 loss at Baylor on Feb. 23. In that game, Walker and teammate Michael Beasley combined to score 75 of the Wildcats' 86 points.

For his career, Walker is averaging 14.6 points per game, 5.9 rebounds. His free throw percentage is 70.9% and is hitting 23.8 from behind the three-point line. He is shooting 45.6 from the field in his brief career, while averaging 25.8 minutes per game.

On April 14, 2008, Walker announced that he would enter the 2008 NBA draft and thus forgo his last 3 years of eligibility. Walker currently has not hired an agent which will allow him to return to Kansas State if he withdraws his name from the draft at a later date. Walker became the 2nd Kansas State basketball player to declare on April 14, the other being Freshman phenom, Michael Beasley.
