Bill Travers (baseball)

William Edward Travers (born October 27, 1952 in Norwood, Massachusetts) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1970. He played for them for 7 years before signing with the California Angels, with whom he played two years. He was an American League All-Star in 1976. For several years, he was among the league leaders in hit batsman.
