Bill Kelly is a former American football coach. He guided the Central Michigan Chippewas from 1951–66, amassing a 91–58–2 record. He later coached three seasons at West Texas A&M University, compiling a 18–13–1 record. His career total is 109–71–3.
He was the tenth head football coach for Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico and he held that position for two seasons, from 1983 until 1984. His overall coaching record at Eastern NMU was 13 wins, 7 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him seventh at Eastern NMU in terms of total wins and third at Eastern NMU in terms of winning percentage.[1]
