Professor William Dodge was born in Nigeria, where his parents were stationed while serving in the Peace Corps. Shortly after he was born, his family returned to the Marin headlands, in California, where Bill spent the remainder of his childhood. Bill attended Yale University for both his undergraduate and law school educations, earning a B.A. in History in 1986 and a J.D. in 1991. He is currently acting Associate Academic Dean and Professor at University of California Hastings College of the Law.
