William R. Butler (born July 10, 1937 in Berlin, Wisconsin) was an American football safety in the National Football League for four different teams. He played college football at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
Butler currently lives in Berlin where he is the defensive coordinator for the Ripon High School football team as well an assistant track & field coach.
