Bill Brady is a Republican member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 44th district since 2002. He previously served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1993 to 2000.
In 2006 he ran for Governor of Illinois, finishing third in the Republican primary with a vote total of about 19%. He is currently considered to be one of the leading contenders for the 2010 contest.
