[edit] Comics
Any way we can compare the episode to the previous movies and comics about Superman? Differences, similarities? Wrad 01:52, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Improvement
Is there anything else we will need to add? ...Or is what we have enough? Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 11:52, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I'm going to try and look through Access World News and some other search engines from my university online library. I've done it before and didn't turn up anything of use, but I'm going to try and refine the search to see what I can find. Other than that, I won't know how much more we need till we get all that we can and then clean it all up to look pretty. At the moment, I'm off to work so I'll be out of commission for 9 hours (minues an hour for lunch when I'll be back home). BIGNOLE (Contact me) 11:54, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

- Well I found this website, but I don't know what to make of it. "Tempest" was nominated but did not win. Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 12:01, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

- Then we can say that "Attila Szalay" was nominated for a Canadian Society of Cinematographers award for her/his work on "Tempest". BIGNOLE (Contact me) 18:01, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

- Nice to see some awards and noms. have been added. For this section:

- "Tempest" was selected in The Futon Critic's 50 best episodes of 2002, placing 15th. The reviewer, Brian Ford Sullivan, stated, "You'd be hard pressed to find a more riveting cliffhanger […] Everything from personal to life and death issues got the four-star treatment in this episode […] I don't know about you guys, but from the haunting image of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum in a breakout role) pausing to see if he should save his father to Clark (an underrated Tom Welling) racing without fear into the eye of the storm left an impression that lasted all summer."

He also called Tom Welling (or Tom Welling's acting) as being underrated...

- but for this section: "Michael Rosenbaum in a breakout role," I'm not really sure how to put it like I did with Welling. Can you please fix it? Thanks - Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 03:09, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- I added some extra plot info in the lead. It should be cut down to only a couple of lines, as the same info is right under it. I also wanted to ask about pictures. I have no experience with uploading non-free images. Could you please upload some? Thanks - Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 03:33, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- We can save the image for last, because you can't have non-free images in the user space and if we upload and it doesn't have a legitimate home it will be deleted. It's easy enough to come back anyway. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 03:50, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- OK. The clean-up was good, but should some mention of the prom be made? And could you please address my above comment about the reception section. Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 03:55, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- Sorry, I missed that. I would say something more like:
This will be less quoty and more paraphrasing. We'll ditch the "break out role" stuff and use it on the main page. I see that I originally misread what he was saying. I thought he was referring to Rosenbaum and Welling for this episode, but he was speaking in general about their performances. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 04:04, 15 March 2008 (UTC)The Futon Critic's Brian Ford Sullivan felt the season finale gave every element the "four-star treatment", and that the cliffhanger ending was "riveting" enough to leave the reviewer in anticipation all summer long of the season two premiere. Sullivan would go on to rank "Tempest" as the fifteenth best television episode of 2002.
- As for an image this is what was originally on the page before it was redirected. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 04:07, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- I think your revision is excellent. I really like it. That picture is really good too. Could we maybe use any others for the reception and production sections? Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 04:12, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- Only if there was something specific in the sections that discussed what we were using. Like what I did with Smallville (season 1)#Effects, when I used the image of Clark's hand being affected by kryptonite. The paragraph to the left was discussing why they chose to give the hand the pulsing veins and green glow look. I don't think there is anything in the production/reception sections that talk in detail about anything specific that we would need an image to illustrate what we were talking about. Free images are a different story, they don't have to be as directly connected to the text as non-free images. This would be closer to how I used picture of the Luthor Mansion on the Pilot (Smallville) page. The text beside only briefly mentions the mansion's exterior. - OK, cool. I had a go at merging all the info for the development and effects sections. I left the filming section alone because that area is for you. ;-) Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 05:45, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- That's cool, I'll go through it tomorrow. I moved a bit from the effects to the filming, as it seemed more appropriate as a setup for the Beeman discussion, than just a random bit of physical effect in the other section. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 06:12, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
