[edit] Washington
Hey there, I noticed you're particularly interested in Washington-related articles, so figured I'd invite you to check out the Washington WikiProject. It's been fairly quiet lately, but there are still a few of us concentrating on Washington-related stuff. Feel free to ask if you've got any questions, and if you're looking for a fun project, and happen to own a camera, I've been slaving away at List of Registered Historic Places in Washington, and could use photos for every single one of them. I don't get out to the peninsula near enough, so if you've got the time and the wherewithal to help out with this, it'd be much appreciated. Cheers! Murderbike (talk) 02:48, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Great! You can let me know when you upload them if you want. The list if in a bit of a state right now, as we've come up with a new table to put all the listings in, which you can see at List of Registered Historic Places in Pierce County, Washington. Eventually I'll wind up putting all of the states listings into tables like this (I'm working on the King County list right now as well). It's quite the neverending monotonous project, but looks good in the end. Anyway, thanks for your response! Oh yeah, don't forget that when you leave messages on talk pages, you can sign your post by typing ~~~~. Cheers! Murderbike (talk) 04:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Awesome, just give me a buzz as ya do. Cheers! Murderbike (talk) 05:53, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

- Yeah, I did notice you threw a couple in there, that's great. eventually, every county should have their list in a table similar to the one at List of Registered Historic Places in Pierce County, Washington, though at the moment I'm REALLY busy and going to be traveling for about two months, not able to do any editing, so unless someone else jumps on the project, it won't get done until summer is under way. But have fun taking pics, I think it's probably a lie that you can't take a pic of a federal building, fake terrorism scare stuff. Murderbike (talk) 06:29, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Glines Canyon Dam
A tag has been placed on Glines Canyon Dam, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. - Never mind; thanks for expanding this. It still needs some wikis, categories and references. Have fun! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:46, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hey there Marmot!
I just did a bit of editing on Trails of Olympic National Park. A great article, but most of the trail information, including the ALLCAPS, was copy/pasted from the website that is linked in the reference section. I removed all of the allcap bits of information but left the important info. I also did a bit of copyediting to the article, and you probably noticed on your watchlist that I moved the article to the proper title without the word "the". Anyway, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for your contributions and hard work. You obviously enjoy the Peninsula area! (Incidentally, I had a much anticipated trip scheduled for my family that was cancelled last minute - I was really looking forward to it...) Cheers, happy editing, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 20:45, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
