Biguanides are not only antidiabetic medications. They also include proguanil (antimalarial), chlorhexidine gluconate (antimicrobial/antiviral), 2-guanidinebenzimidazole (decreases gastic acid secretions). How can we modify the article to include the broad spectrum of the biguanide and its derivatives? rmosler 08:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
