Big Ben Bolt

Big Ben Bolt was a comic strip drawn by John Cullen Murphy and written by Elliot Caplin, brother of Li'l Abner cartoonist Al Capp. The strip followed the adventures of boxer and journalist Ben Bolt. It was syndicated continuously from 1950 through 1977. Murphy received the National Cartoonist Society Award for Story Comic Strip for 1971 for his work on it and Prince Valiant.
