Big Ant Studios is a Melbourne based game development studio founded by CEO Ross Symons in 2001. Previously known as Bullant Studios, a specialist in the simulation-racing genre, the studio changed its name to Big Ant Studios and has expanded its portfolio to include a wide variety of game genres on current and next-generation platforms.
Big Ant Studios currently employs 55 permanent staff and is located in Melbourne’s central business district. Sustained growth since its inception will see the studio move to a brand-new studio space on Collins Street, Melbourne.
Big Ant Studios have released titles on the Sony PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, Game Boy Advance, and PC. They are currently working on multiple signed projects for the Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
