this was my first wikipedia article to submit! exciting!! please edit and discuss any changes that should be made. i know there is a lot of uncertainity about what happened to her son and how she got her bottle, so not much is mentioned about that..

It might be improved if you add some references and work on style issues. I'll try to find the time to come back and help.Trilobitealive 04:46, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Anectdote removed from article

13:09, 6 April 2008 (UTC)13:09, 6 April 2008 (UTC)~~A I remember my father (Edward Flynn of Borheen, Ennis)speaking about Biddy in an affectionate way as I was growing up. She was one of the only people in the region to help the poor for nothing, where the clergy and all the other professionals were not willing to. One story goes that the Priest giving Mass at the Pro Catheral(St Peter & Pauls)in ennis one sunday morning spoke out against her and low and behold she heard about it. It seems that she made a promise that the priest would never pass her door. The Priest in question had to go to Tulla now and again to say Mass, and the next time that he was in his Pony and Trap going to Tulla. The Pony came to a stop right before Biddy's house and refused to go any further so the priest had to turn around and return to Ennis. It happened a few times more so in the end he retracted what he had said about Biddy from the pulpit, so from then on he had no problem of passing her house. My Mother and Father (Nell & Neddy Flynn) used to have session evenings at our home in the Borheen, Ennis. And we kids were supposed to be in bed asleep, but I would have the door opened a bit to listen to the stories and music. One of the best story tellers was a man by the name of Staker Hanlan from near the railway Bridge on the Tulla Road. Removed to talk page Trilobitealive (talk) 19:45, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
