I do not think Bhutta is a Baloch tribe. I always assumed it was a Punjabi Rajput or Jatt tribe. Can someone confirm one way or another?

yes i don't think so that Bhutta is a Baloch tribe, don't assume, be sure that bhutta's are punjabi & also sindhi (but they call as Bhutto because in sindhi language they don't say A (ALLIF), they use to say O (Wao) in the end of mostly words, one more thing i would like to say, what i think that Bhutta Or Bhutto, never related with rajput, these are from JATT familly. but discussion is opened for every one if someone can be able to confirm one way or another.

Yes, most of the Bhutta's in Northern districts of Punjab consider themselves as Jat. However in the books such "Tribes and Castes of Punjab and NWFP" it mentions that Bhutta's are Rajputs descendant from Solar Rajputs. Also Bhuttas in the southern district of Punjab consider themselves as Rajput. They also have history associating themselves with the building of the Derawar Fort. Which is also mentioned in the book "Tribes and Castes of Punjab and NWFP".

Finally Rajputs and Jats are related sister tribes.

I see the notes or references in this article are also broken. Can someone fix them?

Please do not delete entire articles as you have done on the Bhutta page , this is a vandal edit .If you wish to add remove or debate please follow the wikipedia conduct , others may have made careful contributions and your delete is destructive . It may lead to your IP being banned on wikipedia .

Sourced content with the ref has been repeatedly removed from thisarticle by at least 3 users ??? WHY ? the intention seems to be to hide facts ???
