Bhola Sadar is located at 22.6903° N 90.6525° E . It has 62042 units of house hold and total area 413.16 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Bhola Sadar has a population of 351674. Males constitute are 51.94% of the population, and females 48.06%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 160353. Bhola Sadar has an average literacy rate of 25.8% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
