Bhetapara is a fast growing residential cum commercial area of Guwahati city in Kamrup (metro) district in Assam state in India. It gained its importance as main connecting point of Sarusajai Indira Gandhi National Athletic Stadium (main stadium of national games which held in the city recently in late 2006) to the rest of the city.

It had wide two way road system. It well connected to the rest of city by Rhino buses (run by state government),trekkers,rickshaws etc.
