Bhalwal Tehsil is a subdivision (tehsil) of Sargodha District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is administratively subdivided into 53 Union Councils, four of which form the tehsil capital Bhalwal.[1]
The boundaries of the tehsil are marked by the Jhelum River and the Chenab River. According to the 1998 Census the total population of the Tehsil was 132,600.
