1. The image is of a band of notable individuals in punk and alternative rock music.
2. The image is of a band that is currently inactive. It is not likely that a free alternative can be taken, given the busy schedules in recent years of Mike Watt with The Stooges and of Nels Cline with Wilco.
3. Mike Watt, as the owner and subject of the photograph, has supported the use of photographs of himself and his bands on Wikipedia without objection in the past, and is wholly unlikely to object to the use of this image on Wikipedia.

This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.
