Dr. Bart Zalewski is a research assistant at Case Western Reserve University. He has received a B.S. and M.S. degrees in May 2005 from Case Western Reserve University. His M.S. thesis dealt with dynamic load effects on bridge-mounted structures. He has defended his Ph.D. dissertation in April 2008 and is scheduled to graduate in August 2008. Dr. Zalewski’s research interests include analysis of uncertain partial differential equations, interval methods, numerical methods, discretization error analysis, boundary element method, finite element method, and modeling of lunar soil. Dr. Zalewski is a recipient of Case Prime Fellowship, Miller Memorial Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, National Dean's List, and is a member of Golden Key Honour Society. He is an author of two published papers, one accepted paper, a report publication, and has two papers currently under review. Dr. Zalewski has presented five conference publications and twelve presentations.
