Beyond the Embrace

Beyond The Embrace is a melodic thrash metal band that formed in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 2000. Their debut album Against the Elements was released in 2002. Their second album Insect Song was released in 2004. They are currently signed with Metal Blade Records. The band features the work of three guitarists, Alex Botelho, Oscar Gouveia, and Jeff Saude. Their drummer is Chris Haskell, their bassist is Chris Parlon, and their vocalist and keyboard player is Shawn Gallagher. The band features a mix of clean and harsh vocal styles.
