Bexley Cricket Club was founded in 1805 at the Manor Way ground in Bexley Village. Bexley have historically been one of the strongest clubs in South-East England, with two Evening Standard final appearances and winning the Kent Premier League in the last ten years. Bexley fields five teams on a Saturday and two on a Sunday.
Members of Bexley CC who have played test match cricket for England include Robert Key, Min Patel, and Arthur Wellard. Bexley also boasts England disabled cricketer Frederick Dove.
