[edit] History
Bexhill FM is a RSL from OFCOM, which is a radio station based and run by Bexhill High School. It was originally the figurehead of Steven Cross, Assistant Principal at Bexhill High.
It broadcasts every year for one week in July. The current teacher in charge is Philip Higgins, with technical and programming duties being headed up by Richard Harris (station manager).
[edit] Future
Bexhill FM will always be something that is an RSL educational tool for the students, and mostly the station, even the licences, have all been student led, student applied, for as long as is financially viable.
[edit] Trivia
Gareth "the rock" Jennings, Mumm-ra Drummer came back to Bexhill on the 15 July 2007 to appear on Bexhill FM, the RSL (restricted service licence) that operates for a week in Bexhill in the Summer. A whole hour was dedicated to Mumm-Ra, where the breakfast show presenter Richard Harris played a whole hour of their music, as well as their Inspirations, and talk about the general Mumm-Ra band and their second album. The interview was also conducted by Declan Nye and Jonathan Higgins.
