[edit] Upcoming Additions

Just to let you guys know i'll be dramatically updated Beverley's page in the next couple of days. Ive almost completed her biography, and will be finishing off other little projects in the next day or two. Rimmers 21:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Gay icons

In order for this person to remain in Category:Gay icons, the article needs to mention this "fact" and cite reliable sources to support it. What's said about "Tyrone Jamison" may support this. But, we need a notable source to use the actual term to describe her. Otherwise, it's original research. --Rob 17:07, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

When I get around to it, I'm going to be adding a new section entitled philanthorpy which will include info about all her charitable work (and how its reflected in her lyrics). The section will make her links to the gay community explicit...I just need to get around to writing it! Rimmers 00:49, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Ok, sounds great. --Rob 00:52, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Under construction"

I've just added the UC tag to the creativity section of the article; I've been meaning to expand it for weeks now, so I'm finally getting around to it. Over the next couple of days I'll be adding a few new sub-sections - Stage personna and Lyrical inspiration.

I've been researching for another section dealing with her personal life too - which will cover religion, philanthropy, Tyrone Jaimson and a few other areas; hopefully should get that done by next weekend! Rimmers 20:26, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Date of Birth

There is an ongoing 'editing war' regarding Beverley Knight's year of birth. I favour 22 March 1972, but 1973 has it's fans. Anyone care to supply some hard evidence to support either, or even an alternative date ?

Derek R Bullamore 23:21, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

It's 1973.
For example, here is an extract from the biog on her official site: "It’s hard to believe that Wolverhampton born Knight has been recording for over 10 years. “I’m 32 now – 33 the week the album (Voice - The Best of Beverley Knight) comes out!"
So for her to have turned 33 earlier this summer she will have been born in 1973. Rimmers 16:44, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
