The article used to say it was opened in 1932, but based on the Smirnoff article and some links I found, I believe it was founded in 1934 and sold in 1939. --alxndr 03:00, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

I removed the statement that the Bethel Action Committee was among the most successful taxpayer groups in Connecticut because it was not a neutral point of view, nor was it verifiable.Taxwatchdog 20:48, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
