[edit] Request for Deletion
Latest Update:
Thanks to Deletion Review, VOIPBuster is now restored.
[edit] Removed Request for Speedy Deletion.
I understand it - the article needs LESS SUBHEADINGS. However, it is NPOV. --Lexein 06:12, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Way to vandalize - It's forbidden to remove a deletion request message until the discussion is closed TheBilly (talk) 17:10, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Do people think its time to take down the nominated for deletion...It look like that has been up sense 7 May 2006. The article should stay.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.157.224.108 (talk) 09:05, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Redirecting all Betamax services to VoipBuster
I'm redirecting all Betamax VoIP services to VoipBuster, apart from voicetrading.com, who are essentially betamax again as all their sites and clients look the same, only difference is varied pricing. No point in having several pages of the same content.

If anyone has any better ideas, lets hear them... —IncidentFlux 10:49, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- A better idea would be to create an article for Betamax GmbH & Co. KG, or move this article there and alter it to fit. It would make more sense for all the services to forward to the Betamax article. --Dforest (talk) 05:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, Betamax.com might be a better name. --Dforest (talk) 05:34, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'd started a comprehensive article about Betamax GmbH & Co. KG, but Anonymous_Dissident deleted it, citing spam, which it wasn't. If some admin can restore that article that'll save a lot time re-writing it again.—IncidentFlux (talk) 23:14, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Payment difficulties
I and many other users of Betamax services have experienced major problems with buying credit. Although at signup there is no problem with using a credit card for payment, it doesn't seem to be possible for subsequent purchases. Has anyone looked into this?Dinch (talk) 10:34, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Its to bad the article has a big negitive bias towards these cheap VOIP companys..Yea these companys are a bit flaky and their polices change with the wind I agree with this....But But....These calls are dirt cheap, cheaper than dirt,so cheap its almost free to call almost any where in the world....If you can handle a little flakyness its a great deal........... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.157.224.108 (talk) 08:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Biased
Boy, the person who wrote this article didn't like this program a lot, did they? Very biased article, I have been using VoipBuster or other similar software by Betamax for over a year and I hardly had any problem with them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.128.4.223 (talk) 12:10, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
If you ask me you are the one biased, one can clearly see, that by the fact that most critisism is deleted, this page is indeed biased and AFAIC nothing more then cheap spam. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.244.89.178 (talk) 10:06, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Real Costs?
What I’d like to see is a service price sheet, as they don’t mention anywhere on their website the Deposit nor any monthly fee/s.
$0 = Free $.1= Cheap but not free —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.68.244.251 (talk • contribs) 19:33, 10 March 2008)
It's getting worse every day, now they state that Free is not $0 but free for them to decide when and what you pay. A good example is there free sms service. Have a look at there price sheet and watch the bottom line that says "VoipCheap reserves the right after a certain amount of SMS to start charging sms for the default rate." Now this is just an example of Voipbuster or BETAMAX doing buisness. Anyone here like to comment on 'certain amount'? I have figures that show this means after 2 sms'es a day? How can they call that Free? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.244.89.178 (talk) 10:12, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Move and refocus
Much of this article is talking about the larger Betamax (VoIP company). I suggest it is moved and copyedited. VoipBuster is just one of its many, many brands. MRSC • Talk 18:41, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Good move! Thanks —IncidentFlux [ TalkBack | Contributions ] 09:32, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
