The following is not clear:
"Betacom plc changed its name to Amstrad PLC. In 1999, Amstrad sold Betacom to Alba plc...."
Does this mean Betacom a newly created company, the "old" Amstrad or the brand? Mark83 22:01, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- Reading the Amstrad website, it would appear it was the Betacom-branded product lines (among others) that were sold to Alba, ie. the Betacom business, post name-change. Letdorf 12:13, 16 November 2006 (UTC).
