[edit] Nusakan
The article states that "it also has the traditional name Nusakan". Obviously, five questions immediately arise:
- (1) What sort of tradition (e.g., the astronomers' tradition, the Japanese tradition, the Inuit tradition, etc.)?
- (2) What language is the source of the term Nusakan?
- (3) What is the term Nusakan intended to mean when it is used by those adhering to the tradition described in (1)?
- (4) Are there any other competing/conflicting traditional names?
- (5) Has there simply been a mistake in the English of the text; and, therefore, should the text have read something like "it also has the common, non-scientific name Nusakan"?
Hope that someone can clarify this . . . 129.94.6.28 23:01, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
