Betty Young

Dr. Betty Young is the current president of Northwest State Community College in Archbold, OH. She has held that office since September 1, 2003, when she became the fifth president. In September 2005, she led the Lessons for Leno National Tour, which culminated in a meeting with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. The purpose of the tour was to promote interest and acceptance for community colleges across the country.

She has been named the new president of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in Asheville, NC. Her start date is Sept. 1, 2007.
